A little article for Geeks, digital agencies or franchise network digital managers. The statistics provided by Google My Business are excessively simplistic, cannot be cumulated when you have several listings to monitor, and are clearly not very presentable. So I went looking for a more professional solution in Looker Studio.

What statistics can I get from a Google My Business?
Here is the list of elements available in the GMB interface:
- Interactions (total actions on the form)
- Number of users who have seen the file
- Number of searches that displayed the file and on which keywords
- Calls (click on the call button – note that many fields also type or copy the number)
- Number of messages received via GMB
- Number of reservations (if your form category allows it)
- Number of route requests
- Number of clicks to the website (tips: double with a UTM GMB campaign to retrieve the value in GA4)
Which is already pretty good… But when you’ve got 400 records to consolidate for monthly reporting via the GMB channel, it’s not great, because the interface and exports are on a par with Yahoo or Lycos….
