Continuing with the expert interviews and stakeholders that I find interesting to understand and consolidate here, today we’re going to talk about NinjaLink… that old method that’s back on the agenda: Forums! And the expert on the subject is Sofiane, who’s going to give us a little more background on this topic and this trend.

Interview with Sofiane Boumedine de, owner of Lemmilink

Sofiane, you’ve gone from passionate developer to recognized SEO entrepreneur. Can you tell us a little more about this turnaround and what prompted you to launch LemmiLink?
Hi, yes I’m doing more and more SEO, without giving up development, because SEO is one of the ways of using development and applying it to concrete cases. You have to see the developer’s skill as a tool, a language, it’s going to become more and more mainstream to know how to develop. The turn towards SEO is just one of the needs I’m responding to, as developer skills allow me to execute acquisition strategies faster and test these ideas more quickly. What prompted me to launch LemmiLink was the technical challenge represented by the development of a netlinking platform. You don’t just sell links, you upload data, you orchestrate advertiser/publisher relationships, all of which requires a well-oiled clockwork. It was above all the technical challenge that motivated me to launch LemmiLink. It’s also the challenge of facing up to a market and realizing that execution is nothing without marketing.
The netlinking market is already well supplied. How does LemmiLink differ from other platforms? What gaps did you want to fill with your “human, friendly and transparent” approach?
What sets LemmiLink apart is its human aspect. I’m always behind you, whether it’s on the after-sales service, on the discord or on twitter. LemmiLink’s other point of distinction is that we offer ALL types of backlinks. For me, a well-executed netlinking strategy doesn’t just boil down to guest articles; if you want to increase your ROI, there’s a whole range of links to flesh out and diversify your link profile: positioned links, homepage links, UGC links (Forum/NinjaLinking)Web 2.0 links. What’s more, at LemmiLink I emphasize transparency, which is something that slowed me down in the site publishing business. It’s a shortcoming encountered by many site publishers/owners: they have assets but don’t decide on the price of their assets, which was something of a problem for me. These are my tomatoes, I’m free to sell them at any price I like.
Your catalog offers “high-performance and natural” backlinks, pre-positioned pages and automatic link monitoring. In concrete terms, how do these features help advertisers and publishers save time and secure their ROI? And what product enhancements are you planning for 2025?
For advertisers, saving time is essential, as running one or more netlinking campaigns can quickly become a mess. On LemmiLink, the possibility of creating a project and attaching its various orders allows the advertiser to keep an organization and know which links have been purchased for the client of his project. What’s more, as an advertiser, ROI is measured by the indexation rate of the links he buys, which is why he can check the indexation of these links at any time with a single click, as well as verifying their existence and pushing them into indexation free of charge.
You recently presented “From developer to SEO: my strategy with AI and automation”. How does AI come into play today in assessing site quality, setting prices or detecting spam risks on LemmiLink?
On LemmiLink, AI helps us (the functionality has not yet been released) to find links that match exactly the semantics of an advertiser’s site. Vectorization and embedding technologies enable us to classify the sites in the catalog and gain insight into the subject’s theme. As far as spam is concerned, Google does a very good job. Our work comes upstream when we validate the sites in our catalog.
With the rise of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and generative responses in SERPs, what future do you see for netlinking? How is LemmiLink preparing to stay relevant in an ecosystem where AI and generative content could redistribute the cards?
Netlinking is dead… or not. We often forget that the Web can’t exist without links. No link, no navigation. Netlinking is going to evolve and tend towards more citations, less stupid and nasty links. Netlinking will evolve to become an integral part of branding strategies.
We’re preparing an exclusive offer that will focus on quotes/media links. The aim is to offer major accounts a one-shot offer that guarantees their presence in LLMs.
